A Unique, Integrated Free-Improv Music and Free-Improv Dance Performance
Creating spontaneous possibilities of interdependence between movement & sound
where the dancers act as live 'conduction' cues to the musicians who then correspond
to the dancers’ movement according to an original “Movement Score”. This
concept produces new, spontaneous musical and dance pieces each and every time it is performed.
Each performance is created together with a new group of improvisation artists in a 2.5 hour afternoon workshop.
‘A Living Score’ is a flexible and dynamic concept-performance. It works well in a
variety of different venues and with a wide range of improv artists from different backgrounds and musical styles.
Ov London has been touring and creating this unique performance work with local musicians and dancers across the UK and all over the world.
